While postphenomenology has provided valuable insights into AI, the recent progress in AI technology has introduced novel challenges that necessitate a solid philosophical foundation. In this context, this special issue aims to comprehensively understand the dynamic landscape of contemporary AI technology by applying a postphenomenological methodology to a broad scope of technological cases, including but not limited to medicine, education, and scientific research. We seek papers that explore a wide range of topics, such as the epistemological, moral, and societal changes that novel AI applications will bring into play in the fast-approaching future.
