Coastlab24
Coastlab is a series of conferences that concentrate on Physical Modelling in Coastal Engineering and Science. The ninth edition, Coastlab24, was held in Delft, Netherlands. The conference dealt with the many developments that are taking place in the coastal zone, with attention to themes like extreme hydraulic loads, climate change adaptation, multifunctional and nature-inclusive designs, port development, and wave & tidal energy. It also discusses the use of tools like lab measurements and wave generation, analysis techniques, and field measurements. This Coastlab24 Thematic Series of JCHS includes papers on topics that were presented at the conference and were submitted to JCHS just before or after it was held. All papers were subject to the normal double-anonymous peer review process of JCHS.
Thematic Series Editors:
Miguel Esteban, Waseda University, Japan (miguel.esteban[at]aoni.waseda.jp)
Bas Hofland, Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands
These OA papers were originally published in JCHS following the journal's double-anonymous peer-review process. Copies have also been included to the proceedings website of Coastlab24 as extra information. However, the proceedings themselves are separate from the journal papers and did not follow the same peer review process.
