We are pleased to announce the forthcoming JDU Issue 6, focused on the theme of Depletion.
In this issue, we investigate Depletion not as a singular crisis, but as an extended condition; a slow unraveling of landscapes, infrastructures, resources, and communities. Set in the context of deltas and other vulnerable territories, the issue calls attention to how systems degrade under pressures of extraction, (over)design, and climate volatility and positions depletion as a critical lens for adaptive design and regenerative transformation.
