let’s us be silent
no more words wasted

forget the times
which are already lost.

the snakes in your back
keep your gaze painstaking focused
not forwarded, but down

and already looking away
you notice that words of pain
no longer serve in a poem about peace.

out of sight out of mind
people say.

but still,
for them who dare to look back
the free people remains visible.
