Out Now: Poetics of Place

Dear authors, readers, reviewers and friends of Writingplace,

After our latest special issue Writing Urban Places. New Narratives for the European City, that served as a conclusion of, or rather reflection on our EU COST network, we have taken a next step by tunning the Writingplace journal into a book series. The book is published both online in an open access version through TU Delft Open, and as a physical book by NAI010 Publishers in Rotterdam.

We're happy to announce that the first edition, Poetics of Place will be presented both at Delft University of Technology on Friday June 5th, and at the Poetry International Festival in Rotterdam on Saturday June 6th.

In the meantime, we are preparing the upcoming editions: (Hidden) Narratives of Resistance, edited by Elina Alatalo, Dorina Pllumbi and Dalia Milián Bernál (forthcoming fall 2026), and Ways of Seeing. Visual Narratives, edited by Susana Oliveira, Luis Santiago Baptista, Carlos Machado e Moura, and Onorina Botezat (forthcoming 2027).
