~

enormous gravestone rises

 

bloody poor grounds

 

cuts her soft yellow soil

 

a cross of deep wounds

 

where damage and damaged descend

 

into the been that bore them

 

a present past stilled

  in cold of glass  

erased in black of mirror

 

weaves their needle thread by threat

 

to handmade blankets

 

of Memoria
