up north, in Jutland

daylight strengthens

 

where quibbling crows

are building their nests

among the leafless branches

 

one can notice

that the trees

are out of balance

 

they grow in a particular direction

questioning both gravity

and symmetry

 

within a carved landscape

the ever-prevailing western winds

life follows and adapts
