The asphalt is perfect, a bit of sand here and there.
In the front yard only mud, in the backyard as well. The new houses are standing there a bit awkwardly, side by side. The bricks are clean, tight and tidy.
The first windows are being cleaned, the first cars are being washed. The neighbour lady says hello to her new neighbor. After some bashful small talk they each disappear behind their front door, same color, same mailbox, another number.
